THE LIGHTLY STRUNG ORCHESTRA
We are super proud of the wonderfully supportive community of joyful ukesters that spent more than a decade making music together as the Lightly Strung Orchestra (LSO).
From the very first moment back in 2012, our ever expanding motely crew poured their heart into ever music making opportunity we had! We provided free admission to all 76 of our public performances (including some special highlights here), reaching audiences of 50-300 people per event, at diverse venues including retirement villages, RSL Clubs, shopping centres around Sydney, and festivals on the Central Coast, Newcastle and Blue Mountains.
Although the LSO played their last gig in February 2024, we will keep our photos and videos here to remember the wonderful times we celebrated together.
We thank EVERYONE who joined the LSO and for sharing in this uke-crazy music making adventure with us! We know our magnificent sea of aqua blue has been able to sprinkle a little bit of musical magic on the audiences we’ve met along the way… and we’ve certainly had a lot of fun in the process!
